Each transmission picture in this catalog is listed in the table of contents. First by
the manufacturer, then by the transmission with the page number, description of the
transmission and series number.
Pictures:
Most of our transmission pictures are two page layouts with arrows going back and
forth, up and down and across pages. The arrows tell you in what direction and how the
parts line up in order as they come out of the transmission.
Each picture has a square shaded box on the bottom of the page towards the center
of the catalog with a two or three digit number in it. This number is the series number for
that transmission. (Example: Allison 1000/2000/2400 has a 116 series number.) Each part
has a three digit number with a line from the number to the part. This number is the part
number for that part. (Example: Allison 1000/2000/2400 case has a number of 760 for
the case.) So, for the Allison 1000/2000/2400 transmission case, the base part number
is 116760.
