Refund and Return Policy

At HICOStore, we are committed to providing high-quality automotive parts and an exceptional customer experience. If you need to return an item, please review our policy below.

1. Return Eligibility & Timeframe

  • 30-Day Window: You have 30 calendar days from the date of delivery to request a return.

  • Item Condition: Parts must be completely unused, uninstalled, free of grease, oil, or mounting marks, and returned in their original undamaged packaging with all labels and hardware intact.

  • Proof of Purchase: A valid order number, receipt, or original invoice is required for all returns.

2. Exceptions & Non-Returnable Items

  • Electrical & Electronic Components: Due to potential damage from testing or improper installation, opened electrical components (sensors, ECU modules, wiring harnesses) are non-returnable once the seal is broken unless covered by a technical warranty claim.

  • Modified or Damaged Items: Any part that has been painted, altered, installed, or damaged during installation is non-eligible for a return.

  • Clearance / Custom Orders: Special order items or final sale products cannot be returned.

3. Vehicle Fitment & Compatibility

  • Customer Responsibility: Customers are responsible for verifying part compatibility prior to purchase. Providing your 17-digit Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) in your order note helps our team confirm fitment before shipment.

  • Wrong Item Ordered: If a part is purchased incorrectly due to customer error, standard return shipping fees apply.

4. Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Process

  1. Request Approval: Contact us at info@hicostore.com with your Order Number, VIN, and reason for return to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.

  2. Pack Your Return: Securely pack the item in its original box with the RMA number clearly written on the outer shipping box (do not write directly on the product box).

  3. Ship the Item: Send the package using a trackable shipping carrier to the warehouse address provided in your RMA instructions.

5. Shipping Costs, International Orders & OFAC Compliance

  • Return Shipping Fees: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to a HICOStore fulfillment error or a defective part confirmed by our technical team.

  • International Shipping & Duties: Original shipping fees, import duties, customs taxes, and carrier fees are non-refundable. International returns must be labeled clearly as "Returned Goods - RMA #[Your Number]" to avoid import tariffs.

  • OFAC Sanctions Exclusions: In compliance with U.S. Export Control and OFAC regulations, HICOStore does not fulfill orders or process returns for shipments originating from or destined for sanctioned countries, including Belarus, Cuba, Iran, Lebanon, North Korea, Russia, Syria, Venezuela, and sanctioned regions of Ukraine.

6. Refunds & Technical Inspection

  • Inspection Window: Once received at our facility, returned items undergo a technical inspection within 24 to 48 hours.

  • Processing Time: Approved refunds will be credited back to your original payment method within 5 to 7 business days, depending on your card issuer’s processing policies.
