1. Account & General Use

  • Legal Capacity: You must be at least 18 years old or possess legal authority to enter into binding agreements to purchase from this site.

  • Lawful Use: You agree to use our platform solely for lawful automotive e-commerce transactions and warrant that all provided billing and shipping information is accurate.

2. Vehicle Fitment, VIN Verification & Product Accuracy

  • Customer Compatibility Responsibility: While we provide OEM cross-reference numbers and fitment guides, the customer is ultimately responsible for verifying part compatibility prior to ordering.

  • VIN Support: Submitting your 17-digit Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) allows our technical team to perform a secondary compatibility check, but does not alter official manufacturer specifications.

  • Catalog Disclaimer: We strive for complete product accuracy; however, we reserve the right to correct typographical errors, pricing discrepancies, or inventory inaccuracies at any time without prior notice.

3. Pricing, Orders & Cancellation Rights

  • Currency: All prices are displayed and charged in U.S. Dollars (USD) unless explicitly stated otherwise.

  • Order Refusal: HICOStore reserves the right to decline or cancel any order for reasons including, but not limited to, pricing errors, stock unavailability, suspected fraud, or export control non-compliance.

4. International Shipping, Customs & OFAC Sanctions Compliance

  • Import Tariffs & Duties: For international shipments, the recipient is the importer of record and is solely responsible for paying all applicable import duties, customs clearance tariffs, brokerage fees, and local taxes.

  • OFAC Compliance: In strict adherence to U.S. Department of the Treasury (OFAC) export controls and international trade sanctions, HICOStore will not process, fulfill, or ship orders directly or indirectly to prohibited countries or territories, including Belarus, Cuba, Iran, Lebanon, North Korea, Russia, Syria, Venezuela, and sanctioned regions of Ukraine.

5. Mechanical Installation & Limitation of Liability

  • Professional Installation Required: Automotive parts must be installed by a certified professional mechanic or qualified technician. HICOStore is not liable for product failure, vehicle damage, or personal injury resulting from improper installation, modification, or misuse.

  • Exclusion of Labor & Incidental Costs: Under no circumstances shall HICOStore, its directors, or affiliates be liable for mechanic labor charges, towing fees, rental vehicle expenses, lost profits, or indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from part defect or vehicle downtime.

6. OEM References & Intellectual Property

  • All vehicle manufacturer names, symbols, OEM part numbers, and model designations referenced on this site are used exclusively for part identification and cross-reference purposes. HICOStore does not claim affiliation with original equipment manufacturers unless explicitly designated.

7. Governing Law & Policy Changes

  • These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable federal and local business laws. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, with revised conditions taking immediate effect upon publication.
